Municipal (Garden City) Beach

Municipal or Garden City Beach is located in Port Weller West within the city of St. Catharines, along the shore of Lake Ontario.

It can also be reached through Malcolmson Park. A short walk from the beach is the Lake Ontario entrance to the Welland Canal and Lock One.

Municipal Beach is a large well groomed beach however swimming is determined by water quality and Municipal Beach is often closed for summer swimming. Check with the Niagara Region for beach report.
