Glenridge Quarry
The Glenridge Quarry Naturalization Site is located at the junction of Highway 406 and St. David's Road in the City of St. Catharines. From 1976 until 2001 the area was a landfill site.
The park was designed as a natural rejuvenation area, with many native plants and animals starting to reappear naturally, however careful consideration was given to mobility issues making it a perfect destination for people with strollers or wheelchairs.
Signs describing the nature and evolution of the park are placed along the walkway making the park a great learning experience for young and old alike
